Okay so very different but maybe 66,666 Years: Advent of the Dark Mage? You can read it on Webtoon and the MC is able to create underlings and make them do his bidding, albeit it doesn't play a very big role. Aside from that you could argue that Solo Leveling is similar but you probably know that one. And Psychic Studies (Ultimate School Hypnosis on here I think?) but I haven't read it and it might have romance.
Yo I actually can't fucking read this shit, but is their anything where the Main Character has like a similar power perchance? No romance preferably, or very little with no development... and let the art be better than this shit.
