Timeskip tropes are so ass.
It's always over some misunderstanding that can just be resolved with communication.

    And then what? Story is done, no character development, completely unrealistic. No fucking thank you. These boys were YOUNG. In their early 20s and if anyone knows anything about young men it’s that they aren’t emotionally developed at that age and dont understand how to communicate. It comes with time, practice and EXPERIENCE (often via painful lessons). Personally love this as it’s an beleiveable romance imo.

    Lol. Young? Even adults (biologically adult) struggle with communication, regardless of gender. That's just how people are.
