i took my time to read this again, and it exceeded my expectations. everything feels both surreal and refreshing, from the story and to the characters. i appreciate how the creator maximized the story, addressing all aspects of the main characters' lives and backgrounds. also, i admire how mature they handle their relationship, despite their differences. even though they faced some challenges, they managed them well, especially in terms of communication. i can't ask for more other than how i wish it were a bit longer, as i could embark myself to read 100 chapters of their story.
moreover, the characters are absolutely my cup of tea especially jongchan. everything he does makes my heart flutter. he's such a sweetheart and gentleman in his unique way. he genuinely embodies how a man ought to be. i adoreeee him even more after chapter 33, the bathtub scene. the way he poured out his feelings and put seunghyun at ease is just chef's kiss. it’s not poetic or close to confessions i've seen in period dramas, but he really captivated me. he kinda reminds me of seo-oh from swing baby. they're both my faves. let's not forget about seunghyun, my cutie patootie. he's soooo genuine and pure, despite how his life is and his first love went. his character feels so relatable. i connect with him deeply. i'm happy everything turned out well for him, and he finally found the love of his life. i can't express enough about them. i just love them and this manhwa immensely!!!
