I get your pov but jealousy automatically stems from a sense of inferiority. so weather it's an attempt to have the manager only think of her in a romantic sense or a professional sense, all these years later, she's very much still insecure when it comes to jiah.
Yeah I get that, I meant she’s not super insecure about her writing now. I think she just wants the editor guy to he would scout her if she wasn’t already with his agency.
I think it’s since she likes the editor guy now, since jiah ran away he only stayed around her because he thought she would eventually come back. Obviously at first maybe but not now, so basically she thinks he’s hung around thus far because he wants to get jiah to start writing again, so the fiend thinks because he’s been trying to distance himself, she thinks if she can find and make jiah start writing again he’ll stay around, I do also think she wants the editor to say he likes her work over jiahs work but more so out of jealousy not insecurities, but the editor definitely got some feelings for the friend like come on just fucking talk to each other.
