So, usually, you want to read something because you like at least one of the characters. However, when both protagonists are annoying, you start questioning yourself. I can't see any redeeming qualities in this side story, and I don't know how the author is going to dig themselves out of this mess. If anything, I'm reading to see what the author's plan is to win the readers over.
