Well said! Even here, the author tamed the confrontation (and didnt even show it) but lets be real, its much more complicated irl trying to talk to your parents to accept you of being who you are

I feel like people are failing to understand that being forced out of the closet is harder than coming out yourself.... "I'm gay" we know is better than asking if you are gay or demanding to know that you gay. I feel like if I was gay I would like to stay at my closet even if it's see through until I'm ready to come out
