i read the novel and wanted to share something cute so jungwoo will confess to jiwon and ask him out but jiwon rejects him giving the excuse that he doesn’t want their relationship to negatively affect jungwoo’s basketball career (his real reasoning is that he’s already thinking about their potential breakup in the future and he struggles heavily with abandonment issues) but jungwoo knows that jiwon likes him back because he was super obvious about it so jiwon asks if he can have some time to think about it instead and they agree on a sort of “2 week trial period”. later on, jiwon gets invited to lunch by the 2 basketball friends and jungwoo shows up even tho he already ate and during the lunch, jungwoo just straight up tells the friends that he’s gay or bi and is pursuing a guy like omg man does not GAF he wants jiwon so bad bro
