Given the title of the comic and how he showed up and how he's acting, I'd wager he might be a god or demon, perhaps just an escaped soul. And I'm guessing it's precisely his fault what happened in the world. Which would make it a 'sisyphus task' to try and fix the world.
I'm not sure why he vomited. Part of me fears he's actually not keen on physical contact like kissing. Maybe he thrives on destruction and chaos, so being kissed by someone that loves him COULD have a nauseating effect. (Which I would hate, I want these two to be all lovey dovey!)
We can only speculate so far, we really have barely any info to work with.

It woould explain why he want to have his own home. He said he always wanted to live in a house like this. So the demon/ demigod/ escaped soul would fit just well.

Maybe the price for his appearance on the aearth was the apocalypse. Maybe he has to go back where he came from that things can go back to normal and because his lover killed someone they could go together for example to hell if he is a demon or something.

Oh, I would definitely love seeing a situation of Guwon having to leave earth in a tearful moment but be able to reunite in the other world with MC!
Sorta like a touch of the Persephone-type situation in mythology.

I think he is not real human. Some kind of zombie hybrid. Like Frankenstein's monster. Just born when the all apocalypse started.
I mean he come out from the debris. He is super strong. Doesn't have memories. The weird "tattoos ". Everyone is afraid of him.
The dangerous convenient store was the same. His feelings were genuine but he couldn't tell all truth. Because he was afraid that he will be hated and risk the ones life who he loves the most. And the vomiting is just the side effects of his true kind.
