Oh wow, I guess almost all of us as an audience now have trauma or is scared of ml’s becoming a lil possessive, obsessed, freaky and showing signs of a redflag. I don’t know if its a good thing or a bad thing. Man, majority of the bl manhwas really do traumatize their readers. Who can blame us when the material they gave has long been associated with non-cons and .
But for this, I long abandoned the inkling to put a label on a character like I stopped thinking “if this guys is a redflag then I’ll drop the story” , “I think this guy is a freak and too obsessed, the mc deserve better.” Because I realized reading in depth of their character would be more interesting than just labeling. How come they are so complicated? Why are they obsessed? Who drive them to be this twisted? Would the mc understand? Pr will it be another trauma for mc? Why would it not work? Then if that curiosity I had was not satisfied at some point then I’ll decide to drop it or not. But grape would forever be a no-no. I’ll abandon if I ever saw forcing type-a sht.
