OK i'm gonna need y'all sexist ass people in the comments to shut the fuck up. Stop associating shy and quiet behavior with girls please. The uke is not "acting like a girl" he's acting like himself. The seme did say he's quiet. I dont think he's shy tho, shy ppl don't have sex in public. If you dont like it cause the uke looks ultra feminine fine. Dont say he's acting like a girl or he needs act like a boy, thats sexist.

Beautifully said. It makes you wonder about people that read Yaoi that are supposed to be open-minded but in reality can be just as sexist and 'phobic as the rest. The sexist comments permeating this manga are really sad indeed. Concepts such as "too girly" or "too manly"; what does that mean for women that are not "girly" or "feminine" enough? or for men that are not "manly" enough? are they not real men and women, then? Isn't the uke in this manga unequivocally male? Why is he being so viciously attacked or the mangaka criticized because of his physical constitution? This made me realize something about Yaoi readers, and I find it really disheartening.

I love shy boys. I find shy boys the cutest!

But one simple question: If they showed you the character parts of the uke without any dialogue before the sex scene: Would you have said the mannerisms, postures, hair, etc signaled male or female/masculine of feminine? CAuse my thought was: Why even buy girls clothes...he could pass in his own clothes with that braided hair, tiny face, and feminine postures (the little hands put together shyly, etc).

He's cute as heck, but he's also very "girly" in his own clothes. This isn't about shy, but the feminine mannerisms. That first shot of him naked with the long hair flowing and that particular posture signaled "girl" pretty hard. :D

OK trueeee these yaoi manga readers are not suddenly open minded cause they read yaoi. Plus most of these girl are homophobic IRL and hate lesbians, plus they only here to fetishize gay relationships. I do find some good pll and other gay ppl here
