Camilla and Ravi have differemt father. Ravi's father is mage from mage tower, hence his magic ability. While Camilla's father (the biodad in the chapter) is a duke from foreign country. Then the mom married the duke of sorphel after Camilla's father didn't return (along that line but it will be more spoiler). So TLDR mom bagged 3 powerful men and left the world after making sure her children will be able to live well
