T? tsuzuki? are you talking about "yami no matsuei?" there's also a doctor (i think it's murakami or smth) there is a lot of mythological creature referenced in that manga especially in battles. i can't remember if it's "dragons" since they are called shikigami.

other ones that i remember that uses the four cardinal heavenly kings idea are:
- Fushigi yuugi
- BT'X

I think it's Fushigi Yuugi but the MC is the girl Miaka and the guy with a T is Tamahome. The zodiacs you're talking about might be their star markings which are located in different parts of each characters body. The dragons you're referring to is the 4 mythological creatures of China which are Suzaku, Seiryuu, Genbu and Byakko. Though I'm not sure if I remember any doctor with long hair and round glasses.

yeah, that sets me off. i do not remember any doctor character existing there, even in yui's side.

I think Mitsukake can be considered as a doctor since he's the healer for Suzaku's group but his hair isn't long and he doesn't wear glasses

So if the doctor with glasses is part of the major requirement then yeah it might really be Yami no Matsuei

However Murakami the so called doctor doesn't have long hair but rather long bangs? LoL ╮(￣▽￣)╭

hehe but he doesn't look like one. and i think healer =/= doctor. it is part of what OP is asking afterall. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ even in btx (shounen anime/manga), there is also a labcoat-wearing doctor. the one that rides genbu and the male MC's name starts with letter T as well.
