Honestly, I love WTDSIK, like I really enjoy that they don't solely focus on the main character all the time. Most school-based anime typically have around 5-7 classmates that are the main focus, with a trio being the most screen time, but with WTDSIK, each of the misfits gets their own time to shine, and they aren't cast aside like canon-fodder. I mean sure, the love trio and characters like Sabnock get a little more attention, but it's not majority of the show. I also love when the story focuses on characters outside the misfits, whether it be the teachers, first years, student council of Babylus or even characters outside of the setting like what we just had with Leviathan and Balam. Each and every character is clearly important, not just to make the select few look better and I really love the lores and mythology behind the missing demon king, the suspense with what the villains are planning and where exactly this next arc plans to take us.
