I can definitely see the yuri but honestly I don’t think them actually ending up together would make it better, I feel like their relationship works best as it is. Belle isn’t doing everything solely for Maggie either, a lot of what she does comes from her own need to survive and Maggie is a part of that, so it’s not like she's completely dedicating herself to her. Their chemistry is definitely too strong to feel like just friendship, but at the same time making it fully romantic almost feels like it would be too much, the love between them feels more deeply platonic than romantic. Genuinely no shade at all but isn’t this also how some people act with close friends, especially if they’re naturally affectionate? I’m like that with my friends too, fixing their hair without thinking, pulling them behind me when crossing or when something feels off, patting their heads, fixing their clothes, making sure they’re okay, putting their comfort first, doing things for them, making cute nicknames, hugging a lot, it gives more of a sibling type bond if that makes sense. If you're thinking that it may make some misunderstanding with my friends, we talk it out a lot actually and all of them know by now that I'm naturally affectionate. So yeah, in conclusion, the yuri is there but personally I don’t think it needs to actually become a thing
Just an addition, you'll always see this type of behavior with the leader/mother of a friendgroup LoL, just like how belle thinks of them as her babies
Honestly, bellita and Margaret made SO MUCH SENSE, like they give sm yuri vibes, the fact that bellita calls Margeret "My Margaret" like how is that casual? And the fact that she's tiring her ass of just for the sake of margaret, this HAS TO BE YURI. Them being together makes sm more sense tbh, and don't come hitting me with the "just because their friends doesn't mean-" like dawg.. don't even.. their bond has so much more potential then whoever the male leads are
