He ends up leaving with the omega Alexei tries to keep him away from and move elsewhere. He resumes hid career as a ballet dancer but he has pheromone disorder because I believe they might have bonded.
Alexei fakes his death and moves to Canada. He never tried to contact the alpha again but he reads about him in the news until he heard alpha got into an accident. He secretly slipped back into the country to visit. Alpha felt his pheromones and knew he was around. They met. Alexei tried to run away and hide. Then he felt regret and ran back. They both met each other in the elevator because they both wanted to catch each other. Alpha actually was in love with alexei the entire time and only comes to realize later after he lost him. He was the reason he kept on living and getting into ballet. They do end up together. There are side stories which I somewhat I forgot what happened.
