Like you have characters that fall victim to manipulation and can't escape these toxic situations/can't handle them properly because of trauma or insecurities. These characters are when written well or even just okay most of the time more relatable and likeable and you root for their development and for a happy future. But this guy... He's the kind of character thats only trait is being a victim. No change nothing. He is just pathetic. And for the love of god i cannot care about him being stabbed or ml being sad about it because both did not change or had any impact on me where I can say "wow I really want them to be happy". Nothing. Mc is only suffering the WHOLE time and when ml is suffering then MC is suffering even more during this time. The fuck? How can I start liking any of them in that way? I liked MC at the beginning but now he is just pathetic and ml's "development" is just a bad excuse like what was that?? Two seconds "oh man I hope he isn't suffering like I am rn" like bro suffered the whole time u just didn't gave a fuck... Don't even remember if he realised it know cuz these scenes had no impact and little to no Time to develop and impact the reading.

This story is so incredibly bad I can't even express how I feel about it. The author really has a talent for making me dislike every character (except the two old guys). The ml is just trash and his excuses are one of the worst to exist (gives the vibe of "oh wait I still need to excuse ml's shitty behaviour) and what the flip happend to MC's plan from the beginning? Like bro did not do shit and his whole character is being a victim and not leaning to stand up for himself... Great ... What an amazing story... We began with a shitty ml and a weak MC and ended with a ml that "learned" from his behaviour and definitely "reflected" what he has done and a MC that had an amazing character development *cough *cough (technically he had more backbone at the beginning?really don't know how he can lose self respect over the timespan?)
