Rather than shutting her opinion and dismissed her because he's the "big brother" (and being the duke too) Reynolds acknowledged all his faults and flaws in the past and also asking forgiveness for her sister. ik if the "real" penelope is the one who should hear this. but also, this is all about being to not communicating properly from both parties (reason why Peneolpe hoping Yvonne can't be found and Reynolds hating her for that wish without knowing her reason) but then once again they're just a kids when things happen..
(And Actually if Reynolds aren't labeled as her big brother, he's a good option too comparing to these candidate from the story (or game) they had. and yes i know they're not related by blood but "marrying my step bro" isn't a thing for me)
