Be for real. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t condone rape. But if a woman was to be trained as an agent, you’ve got to expect this kind of torture, especially since men are degenerates. It’s sexual assault in the eyes of Seoryung because she doesn’t know that the man in front of her IS her husband, but in the eyes of Wooshin, he knows what it means to be an agent, and he wants to prevent Seoryung from experiencing this because he cares for her, no matter how much he tries to deny it. Let’s not forget how much he tried to persuade Seoryung to back out. This is his last resort—showing and letting Seoryung experience what it truly means to be an agent. Think guys, think.
Look. It took me many years of reading and saying these same excuses for rape in books. I would say it makes sense for the plot just as you are, but at the end of the day this is a manga. Fiction. So many crazy things that would never have happened in real life are in this story so it feels weird that now is the time we’re trying to be realistic about things. The author made the choice to make this a plot point. They could have easily steered clear, but they chose to put this in. I also truly doubt it’s for realism. To me this just looks like him trying to prove a point to his ex wife over jealousy.
What else if not SA ? A girl got caught as an agent, Enemy Will do anything to make her talk before killing her.
don't think of him as wooshin but an enemy who caught her.
A lot is happening in real life, get killed if you got caught.
And if you read the plot you would think the scenario makes really sense. A pretty and sexy agent who got caught. Instead of beating or break her limbs, SA will definitely happened.
You’re right, but my comment does not mean to be realistic and connect to real life scenarios at all!! I thought about their past and their world, and then came to that kind of conclusion. The purpose of my comment was to explain that Wooshin doing that was the result of what he experienced and the values he grew up with (as an agent). I understand your disappointment with the authors decision to make this a plot point, but the build up to this scene was very obvious in the previous chapters! It’s disappointing he chose that route, and I agree and believe jealousy was part of the reasons of his actions. But I dug a little deeper into that and therefore, commented my thoughts ^ . Of course, this does not mean what Wooshin did was acceptable. I am notttt defending his actions. I just wanted to share my two cents and offer a new perspective lol. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
