as the comment above says and the cover shows, the husband is in fact the ml and their past life is a textbook exemple of neglect and assuming they know everything without ever actually talking to the person concerned (which is as much abuse as direct physical abuse, especially in a society where the husband has the final say and power over everything his wife does and everything that's done to her)
