I get that MC can come off naive but she literally a high school girl and who would honestly think their friend is capable of these things and we need to remember the thing we know the mc doesn’t in her mind it’s a series of unfortunate events; getting ganged up on she didn’t know her friend set it up, she didn’t see her friend lock her in.
