May I ask why? If it was pro life, abortion would have never been offered as a choice to both the main character, the pregnant lady he meets at the train and the school kid. All of them would carry their pregnancy to term and abortion would never be consciously brought up by any of the characters. I mean even the school kid ends up getting an abortion and he questions why Kentaro would want to carry his pregnancy to term and weighs the differing circumstances that “allow” Kentaro to make his choice such being a working adult. If it was pro-life, no character would consider or participate in abortion. Like no one is forced to terminate their pregnancy nor are they forced to carry it to term. The entire premise is Kentaro being offered abortion and deciding to carry it to term which makes him a social aberration and having to reckon with the treatment he receives as a pregnant man.

Maybe it's me but this felt a bit prolife
