Sensei made this manga under the presumption that her readers are familiar with the original work, if you are not of course the story will seem choppy at times, if you only give it this manga chance that it deserves you are up for a lovely read, the art its gorgeous and timeless, pretty spot on with the original physical description of its characters, and the translation was so lovingly done that is nothing short of astounding, the only reason the rating its so low is because the character design doesn't match the idealized looks of the characters in a TV series made years afterwards
