yeah but then again this plot was to be expected, we did find out he was being plotted after since someone placed a powerful curse on him. It makes more sense someone who would go through extreme lengths just to kill him wouldnt give up on him after finding out he survived
plus if the author had just left that entire fact out, there wouldve been a massive plot hole the readers would notice
i really like this webcomic, but i hate how the author keeps adding different plots all the time. like why did u need to add his rival to make the plot longer? its so complicated for no reason
