I think it’s a shame how often (though not always) characters are reduced to simple “green flag” or “red flag” labels. With Guwon, we’re finally starting to get some real backstory, and the plot is finally thickening. It’s clear this story isn’t going to hand us every detail on a silver platter—it’s confusing and layered, and we probably won’t fully understand things until the end. From the very beginning, it was obvious that Guwon wouldn’t be a typical or “normal” guy, this is the apocalypse, after all. Dark things were always going to be part of this town and the people in it. Maybe in the end we’ll find out he really is just a terrible person acting on his own accord. But right now, it’s pretty clear there’s so much more going on, both in the city and in Guwon’s role in all of it. As long as he doesn’t cross certain lines towards the mc (like assault/rape), I find it genuinely compelling to see a character who’s morally ambiguous and seems to have many different sides. That complexity is what makes a story like this so engaging lol
