I sense a horrible tragedy there - with the brother. Johan's medicine doesn't work on humans -- but the brother is taking it? Is the brother a ghost now and he came to resolve issues with Emma? Is she gonna regret running away from her brother without at least a hug?

I'm hoping I'm just being overly dramatic. Maybe it'll turn out that one of their grandparents was a youkai and while the gene missed Emma, her brother got it and he was weak because the youkai blood didn't mix well with the human blood. I hope that's the scenario rather than my original line of thought.

This is one time where I would want Emma to really get angry with her brother, although her action was really uncalled for, "Why did you come?" Ouch! Seriously though, if you're gonna get mad, don't half-heartedly do it
