They count turns by regressions, not lives. So by 3rd turn they mean that this is his 4th life, 4th time going through the scenarios. Not much info about 0th or 1st turn (at least until later), but in 2nd turn it’s said that he trained in the Murim for hundreds of years in like a pocket dimension type thing. Also in the original ways of survival there are 1863 turns in total.
I’m quite confused how he’s only done technically two returns because this is the third turn. With the amount of stuff that he knows in the third turn how much stuff did he complete in just those first two turns. Especially since they’re still like 60 other turns that he apparently completed in that story. You would think you would die pretty quickly in the first turn so he wouldn’t get that far. But then in the second turn, have to get super far. But then also logically he was supposed to die pretty early in the third turn. like in which first two turns did he meet his master?
