Right? I felt bad for him there. Imagine your life only revolving around your family but they make you feel so unwanted and rejected. Depressed dads are a thing too! Although we can't blame the family. We saw his POV with how he wants to change but his family doesn't see all that
Tbh, sure, the old guy's a little outdated. But the way the family treats him is also horrible. It's not like he's a bad person, how could they make him feel so unwanted. Even the wife. How could she say, she doesn't want to stay with him after retirement. My dad has outdated values too. I argue with him on those topics and make my stance clear, but I'd never treat him like a nuisance. His whole life he worked so hard for me, he does everything he can to give me the best. How can you expect someone to accept everything about you if you can't even stand to be around them?
