It was a joke of course, but I did not know they came from Hollywood, so thanks for the culture tip ma dear :D
The joke was behind the fact that, even in old history times when everything should be depicted as dirty and deformed, hairy women etc, they create a cute vision for a romantic novel.
I prefer to see this awesome and super clean version of course, because reality back then was pretty... Smelly :D
