Girl for real, you just named two of my all-time favorites that I am literally rereading right now.
This. I came to just check this one, because I vaguely remember Mangaka's hand healing enough, and they did some more of this story maybe in a magazine. I just checked in an off chance if someone found that stuff at this point and translated it. All I know that art suffered a lot, but she did come to at least try to finish it.
low key i miss the 90/00s era manga like this, saiyuki, getbackers, etc. the art style of that period is so distinctive, and with it, a common mood to the stories..
