It’s still an open ending either way but I think chapter 6 shows things will never change. Hiro will go along with what Shiro does and I think it stemmed from a fear that his only hero runs away when he was in need, sadly his hero becomes the perpetrator. While Hiro runs from his desires he will always come back to him. The only thing stuck in my head is Hiro’s facial expression he looked gen shocked when Shiro grabs his hands it puts a pit in my stomach it looked like he was finally letting go, he no longer needs a hero or maybe he hadn’t needed one since the moment Shiro ran away as kids.

Naw you gotta be messing with me. Can you even call that an ending? Because it clearly wasn't. Tbh cutting it off on ch.5 would've been better, the perfect open ending but, then ch.6 showed up and just left everything as messier than before.
