It’s more like Seme regressed to the past (which is now their 2nd life in the current TL along w his memories of their 1st life) before he officially meets uke and does a complete 180. So yes, he’s repeating the same life, but the only difference is that he loves the uke now.

the reason why he doesn’t wanna mate with the Uke is because he knows that if he marks Uke, he’ll remember all his past memories w him. U see at the beginning, Uke suffers from insomnia from having these recurring nightmares of being by a faceless man by that’s actually him having dreams of his past life. That’s why when at the restaurant when they had their date, when Uke finally told Seme about his nightmares, Seme was shocked and looked heartbroken. Seme is afraid of losing Uke again, that’s why he acts the way he is with the whole pull and push with Uke. It’s more of a trauma response. Seme wants to keep him and protect him safe but at the same time he wants Uke to be faraway from him and to live his life without Seme cus Seme thinks it’s the better option. But Uke doesn’t like it that’s why he taunted him, saying that he’s a liar and he doesn’t care about Uke.
