I thought it was just me plus it sounds like the dad got his position handed to him but when she actually puts the work in she’s not good enough; but she will be if she marries a man according to the dad. Like he definitely could found her a mentor (senior divorce lawyer) to help work on the issues and build up her confidence.
seriously am i the only person that hates her dad rn? like it genuinely feels like he does not see his daughter as respectable and a good attorney!! the fact he would rather give the position to someone else rather then foster his daughters skills and realize immaturity can change with mentoring and time pissed me off like nuts! let alone wanting her to become a housewife and pop out babies. UGHHHHH
