Just cross dressing! I think he jus rlly likes girly and femme things but at no point in the series he wanted to be a girl other than the fact that he wanted his crush to look at him if he was actually a girl

He's just crossdressing. He has never displayed intrest in being a girl. It's more of him coming to terms that he's a feminine man. Also if he was Trans this manga wouldn't have been under the bl category.
