I know you guys feels for both situations but you should know that what he did is actually wrong no matter what, for a perspective of a best friend, to have someone you really² love use your weakness as a weapon to hurt you is literally wrong. I understand why he felt betrayed and despair however to do something like that to someone you love? That's not love anymore bcs it kills the one you 'love' so don't justify his actions, it literally make his best friends pain into a larger scar and traumatised him but no I don't disregard his pain at all I just want to say that he is wrong in this part
