I don’t really like it when the protagonist (usually a child) runs away from a stable and loving environment. I mean I understand that at first they seemed dangerous but they got closer and closer to the protagonist making her feel cared for and then the protagonist runs away. Another story that does this is please give me the pacifier
In this case she has a reason though. Her main goal is to uncover what happened to her mother and avenge her. She can't do that freely if she stays with the family because they love her so much.
