In a sense both Kloff are the same… it’s just the OG is the result of the hell he created, his disdain for his desire for Aeroc cause him to use his marriage as a tool to punish Aeroc. In this timeline, Au Kloff said his marriage with Rapiel will be so peaceful it would be boring. So… it puts together why world 1 was messed up. He was bored and homophobic…
AU kloff had no real reason to do anything bad to Aeroc.. he blows up (because of the imprint) with the financial crisis and Aeroc being close to other alphas.. or his thought’s about Aeroc liking Rapiel. If Linus hadn’t meddled in the proposal… it opens up the possibility that something bad will still happen. If he got married to Rapiel… it would still be the same (somewhat)
But one thing is certain, both Kloff’s are a selfish… rereading the novel so many times.. his actions were self-serving. If he didn’t see the damage with OG Aeroc.. he wouldn’t have fixed himself. While Og Kloff sees his part in his hell. It’s a journey.. both Kloff becomes a better version of themselves, even OG in vol 5.. unfortunately the story ended in a way that a reader is left to imagine whether Kloff did become a better man or not. I wish we had more side stories so we could see the relationship progress…
