No, it’s not a translation error. It’s stated later in the manga that she met Kurt around 1200 years ago. Kurt is much older than that, so the 1300 doesn’t sound much off from the truth.

Just watched the anime and in the last episode Hildegard mentioned they met after 1300 years (or something). Was that an translation error or is Kurt really that old? Spoilers? Σ( ￣□￣||)
