Ah the purple guy? he's really strong. Just lesser than the king fin. So it's not "sudden so powerful" King fin didn't took his core so... he lived.
And I feel like someone's going to die, you see... lina survived. so readers would probably hope that the remaining former heroes to be part of the team.

Why is it always enemies that died a long time ago that nobody ever really cared about to begin with always come back all of a sudden so powerful that is annoying
