I hate Gunner so much, he acts like it’s a crime for Theo to have belief that he would hurt him. And guess what? He actually does it and shoots Theo in the leg.
What’s worse is that there’s scarring left by Gunner now. It’s like Gunner left a mark on his life, and the glasses dude saying this: “It might fade over time, but it might not go away for the rest of your life.”
I’m hoping he’s saying that literally. It sounds like author is foreshadowing, that Gunner will always be in Theo’s life.
Gunner acts like he’s never hurt Theo, but does raping not mean anything? He really doesn’t care or think about how Theo feels or says.
And Theo, get Dylan and don’t let go. Don’t tell Gunner to keep calling you until he gets it out of his system, losers like him will never until you’re nothing but a broken human.
Also, did he actually move on from Gunner? I’m worried because he said he might not be decisive or can’t tie up his loose ends (reference to Gunner?).
