where did you hear that the author is a healthy person? i never assumed they were bc i doubt a healthy mind could derive such a dark story
I've read the novel, and believe me, it is so much better than the adaptation. The manhwa so far looks like fetish work; the novel is not. It is a well-written exploration of Stockholm syndrome, and I appreciate it for what it is. It is not glamorized or romanticized, which I've never seen another author portray with such tragedy and rawness. altho the amount of rape was a tad excessive.

Bruv I've heard it being heavy but the writing here is fucking ass, not to mention that a supposed healthy person came up with all of this is making me question whether some authors should maybe seek out therapy...
Even worse that the author is also doing real bad rep work for the whole BL community, no wonder other people who're not involved in this community think we're some fucking fetishizers. Put down the fucking pen and bring out actual good stories and not this shit, this makes us even look as bad as men and rapists because the mental illness you need to have to put this shit out. Even more questionable how a publisher agreed to publish this story l smh
I have so much more thoughts on this but i rather keep it to myself and read some cute BL stories that have actual good characters and story development, for anyone being curious and for those who need some fluff after all this BS, here are some recs from me:
- Cherry Magic
- Starting with a Lie
- Here U Are
- Sign
- Dream Away
