Irony: An inverted muslim symbol for a catholic baptism seal used to unite two guys into a forced gay relationship. I see nothing strange about this. lololololol.

Could be. Like how the nazi swastika & buddhist manja are alike but very different.

This symbol isn't just used by muslims lmao.
This symbol was even used in ancient Greece and even by the Roman empire and have been recently used by some muslim countries
It's just a crescent moon and a star, no one owns them.
The author probably don't even know anything about Islam-muslim countries flag and used this symbol bc it's cute and can be found anywhere else.
    Muslims didnt invent it.

Maybe not but symbols and images have meanings outside of what artists/creators do with them. Cultures and people give context and meaning.
In this case, I think OP's comment wasn't mean or anything but it makes it obvious the author used something without research.
Symbols don't lose their meaning just like that, if the artist doesn't do their research, they expose themselves to this kind of problem. You think nowadays, someone would irresponsibly use the symbol nazis appropriated for a peace organization in their fictional story?
Of course not. But pretty much everyone knows about that.
Because the symbol used here is less well known, it doesn't mean for a great number of people, the irony won't be there. To them, obviously, they will read things this way.
OP shouldn't get told to shut up or that they're wrong, because that's not the case. A symbol that has meaning outside of the artist's of this story's context is being used, it is like saying "i don't care about what this mean". Of course it can be seen as kind of rude. Just show how when you're a creator, you better be careful or you may create offensive messages without meaning to.

I did some research myself. And actually it looks more like a crescent moon with dot. So I found that it has more similarities to what they called a : "Bindu Visarga Chakra"

Star inside a crescent isn't a muslim symbol,it was a symbol created by an Islamic empire and later used by some Islamic countries so it is often associated with Islam. That symbol means nothing in Islam, unlike Christians have the cross. I know that bc I am a muslim myself.

While I was searching for Crescent Moon and star. I read: "The crescent moon and star is a symbol often associated with the religion of Islam. This symbol can be found on the flags of many countries, such as Algeria, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Pakistan and Turkey." Does that mean they are incorrect? ☪ not Islam?

In Islam, our months start with seeing the crescent. So every 29 days you check out for the crescent so it became a symbol. But I like the OP comment, the author mixed islamic symbol with a cristian symbol ( idk myself about baptism )in a gay relationship, I think it's a fun idea

No you're right,it is a symbol that is OFTEN ASSOCIATED with Islam bc many Islamic countries are using it for their flags. What I mean is,it is only a country simbol, not religion symbol like cross symbol for Christian. The religion of Islam doesn't have a symbol.

Oh interesting. Sounds kinda romantic checking out for the crescent moon :3 Oh Christian Baptism doesn't have a star symbol. Often with cross, white bird with a leaf in the beak and a grail.

For the moon-star thing, I was reminded of the original Gurodo symbol from Zekda: Ocsrina of time. There was controversy over it being Islamic/Muslim back in the 90s & Nintendo had to change it.

(▰˘◡˘▰) It looks more like a crescent moon with a big ● dot rather than a ★ to me. Hehe. Ah yes I remember reading that they changed Gerudo's symbol (Zelda: Ocarina of Time) That original 1 looks more like a ★ star.
