Bro fl shouldn't trust ml after what he did to her. And what dumb decisions is she making?
It was literally said that due to his dragon blood influence, he suffers from "madness" and based on our interaction with the dragon we see selfish,erratic, possessive etc behaviors all of which, he, to some extent cannot control. Which was the reason he initially kept his distance and didn't want to impregnate her. So yes while, I understand what he did was wrong, what did everyone expect from a hybrid with that innate nature??? Based on these factors I'm assuming that part of the story is for her to helping him gain control, humanise and teach him.
For me, she keeps making decisions without thinking it through. Even from the claims of her being pregnant with his child. She was driving for the child of this dragonborn regardless of the consequences, she says she likes him but does she really understand him? She obviously after all this time is ignorant of his selfloathing. She offers him little information and when things come up hardly communicates. Now due to this massive misunderstanding , she's out in the world,-- with no protection, carrying a baby of a creature she knows nothing about, which is known to kill its mother. Is following the advice if the brother who keeps secrets and is related to why she is unhealthy, running around with the dragon that considers her is plaything not careing if she dies or lives and because she genuinely doesn't know the man she claims to like (who she inadvertently set off his animalistic nature)-- fighting for her life.

Paragraph 1: Okay??? And she still isn’t obligated to forgive him, or think of him as anything but an abuser. And if he actually loved and cared for her, he would distance himself from her. He’s not a dog, he’s like 20-30 years old, he’s part human and has had plenty of time to mature.
Paragraph 2: I mean, probably the reason she just decided to claim she had his child was the fact that she was going to be executed in less than 24 hours??? And also, let’s be fucking real for a second: she has lived an extremely sheltered life, probably never receiving education in military tactics, and seems to be not very physically strong. So how tf would you expect her to formulate a more advanced plan? And the whole damn time she says she likes him BC SHE WANTS TO SURVIVE. And why should she try to understand him when he says that all he sees her is as an object? And for your information, the sexual assaulter of a ml has kidnapped her, so she’s not in the world, she’s being held captive. And I’m sure there are plenty of herbs in their world that she could eat to induce an abortion. After all, she’s still pretty early on in the pregnancy. And the ml even threatened to murder the fetus himself so. And I’m pretty damn sure the brother is more trustworthy than the ml bc at least he’s trying to get her healthier, and he’s not trying to possess her bc guess the fuck what she’s not an object. And you just admitted it yourself, ml, “ considers her is plaything not careing if she dies or lives” so it makes sense why she wants to run away??? And yeah, she INADVERTENTLY set off his animalistic “nature” so it’s not her fucking fault the ml just needs to control himself better omg.
To paragraph 1: You're still looking at him in the perspective that he's human, which he's not fully. And the ancient dragon is 1000s of years old and still has that barbaric ideology because it's a beast. How are we to expect a man who everyone knows is a beast including FL to behave as if he's a full blown human. Let's not ignore his self loathing as well. Also I never said she had to forgive him, however, he's shouldn't be completely blamed for things being the way they are. As I mentioned, he initially did try to distance himself and she still pushed for the child, she pushed because initially yes, she wanted to survive but she also got feelings for him.
To paragraph 2: Again... he is not human. Dragon s see pretty things as their "objects". He is part human and part dragon. His dragon side which he has been trying suppress from the beginning as I mentioned is bad. Yes, she needed his child etc etc to survive rightfully so but that has resonated with his dragon side as her being his female, even more so the fact that she is pregnant with his child. I understand she has been sheltered but she's an adult and understood the dangers and still persisted now, she's being faced with all the consequences and she's crying. She made those decisions, she wants to keep the child knowing it could kill her, the ML is only considering terminating the baby to PROTECT HER. Which his human side has always been trying to do. And to correct you, I didn't say the ML when I say "it couldn't care less if she lives or dies". I meant the ancient dragon who is controlling her maid, who she called upon using the magic circles her brother incripted on her.
Additional comments: listen, going back to my initial comment. Both Main characters have faults. I hate that the ML is getting all the hate when in truth the FL is also doing shit. We and her cannot expect a half human/half beast hybrid connected to a dark past, who knows he's a monster but can't control the monster in him - to act as a fully functioning member of a human society. RN the female lead hates him off of the misconception that HE, THE ML promised to sell their child which he did not. Not because she doesn't like him. She does. She want to have her child despite, because of the ancients dragons nature she believes he is incapable of love and only hates him because of these two reasons. She only ran away because she didn't know she was pregnant. Also, idc what you say I still am skeptical of the brother
Can you not understand that he isn’t human??? This could be easily avoided if she just went on and got rid of the creature inside her but nahhhh she decided to keep it for whatever reason we don’t even know of I mean if he’s so horrible and yk cruel all allat why can’t she just get rid of that child and then escape or something like for fucks sake
Maybe she wants the child but not the man??? People do sometimes keep the children of their rapists. And even if he’s not human that’s not an excuse for being shitty. Even my dogs are more well behaved than him, and they’re not even 50% human.
Girl , she's keeping it because she loves the baby and her husband. Everyone keeps thinking she's mad because he SA'd her when infact sis is mad because he's possessive (after being locked away I understand why this is traumatic), he wants to get rid of the child to protect her and he is wary because as we keep uncovering - her connection to her brother is the reason she's weak, unhealthy and so close to death.

Both Main Characters are missing me off.... OMG. Everything could be solved with some serious communication and trust. The brother has secrets I don't trust him. The ML has server trauma and his madness is making him irrational and the girl is just making a bunch of stupid decisions. I am fed up!
