So, basically, it's not that he immediately fell for him, he just grew interested and attracted to him and wanted to play with him by acting the foolish lover who wants to make amends for what he's done... In the end, he truly is starting to become a foolish lover who appreciates even the smaller things they do.
It really feels incomplete; I want to see Mami finding out that it was half a game, and him supposedly finding out that he has already fallen in love with Raion. I also want Raion to not treat it as a game anymore, but more as an actual goal, and for him to really really love Mami. The way he's acting feels like he can easily get bored and dump Mami after that.
His cunning self adds his cool points, but it certainly made his guilt (or so he calls it) from the first chapter onwards feel like a lie. Since he's so confident, I want to see him fail with Mali just once, at least.
Make him pay.
