I love this author but you have to be extremely patient with the plots. They go very slowly and the releases are slow. I typically put the ongoing in my want to read list because I know I'm going to have to wait at least two volumes if not more for the action. Again I love the art and the stories but they aren't for people who like things to move a fast pace.

Are you aware of how much time and work that goes into every single page

Yes, which is why I said what I said in case people want something else. Many people want things super fast and don't enjoy this for what it is. I enjoy it and appreciate it (like I mentioned above), but it isn't for people who want things at a different pace. I'm willing to wait years for these stories, but that's just me.

Actually, it shouldn't take too long, to be honest. I have some background in the doujin business and it usually takes an author 1 month to complete a chapter. This, plus they only have to do pencil work. They usually have teams of assistants that handle all of the backgrounds and inking. I've seen webcomics online that produce superb art in full color that doesn't take that long either. And they usually work on their own. The reason why this comic is super slow is that it is on the back burner right now. Sensei's main priority is Honto Yajuu at the moment.

You know, I've also been thinking that I really like the mangaka, probably because usually the relationships she shows are mostly healthy. But that also makes her works a little... I don't know if "bland" is the word, but I think it's got something to do with that. Now that you mentioned the pacing, I think it might have to do with that.
