Also I wonder if this is like a play by Seongmin? I know its unlikely but sometimes Seongmin has some scheming vibes to him. Maybe him resigning after creating doubt in MC's mind is some kind of gamble. Either it creates a rift with seme and makes MC realize that "love" isnt meant to be suffocating or it pushes MC further toward seme bc he now has no one else but either way Seongmin doesnt want to be MC's ocassional "breath of fresh air" from his toxic relationship bc to me, it rly does sound like MC loves Seongmin but is too fucked up to realize bc its not the unhealthy love hes been conditioned to seek.
This is exactly how I feel. The plot is so dark and twisted but I can’t look away.
