I really wish authors would stop writing characters who sell their bodies. I'm so tired of ittttt. Arghhh. It's not adding anything to the story. It doesn't make the characters more pitiableee

I mean its also a reality, many people engage in sex work, so there are going to be people who write stories about it. If you feel uncomfortable about it you can always not read it, theres plenty of BL stories that don't centre or mention sex work (you should also re-examine how you view people who engage in sex work, I think this work gave the red haired dude a pretty good ending).

Sex work is paid rape. We should fight for the liberation if sex workers but NEVER make the "buyers" the good guys

Look you're taking what I said out of context, I never stated my opinion on the morality of sex work, only that it is a reality. I completely agree with you that sex workers should be given more autonomy and rights, as they are often some of the most vulnerable people in society, and they should never have had to enter sex work to make a living. However, I do not like that fact that you think I was defending these so called "buyers", and I do not like that you have removed the nuance within sex work. Not every sex worker is a victim and not everyone that engages with it is a predator- there definitely exists a power dynamic, but it is because of how people view sex work that continues to funnel talking points that make sex work more dangerous.
