To be honest, I feel like he wanted to manipulate her and isolate her to keep her all to himself. It's similar to how I noticed she harmed the mantis that ate the caterpillar, but he harmed the caterpillar. They view insects differently, so that means she might end up harming him. I wonder how this story will end…….
