….from what I saw in the Korean reviews of the novel, pink hair and uke had a thing after Amon drives him to dispear, but Amon is the Ml (he’s a dragon and Uke is his “mate”.)

The story is a tragedy but the end is open (and hopeful!)

Pink hair guy fights Amon after he tells him that he’s the lover of Uke and that they’re running away together. They have a massive fight, and Amon kills him after pink hair mortally wounds him in the stomach.
Uke basically gives up on life and (this was weird trying to translate) but in his misery he basically gives up on everything and everyone, incliding his feelings for both Amon and pink hair, and just disappears like a holy diety.
So basically Amon realises Uke never found comfort with him which pains him. He’s a dragon who doesn’t have human emotions so while he loved Uke,he never understood why he couldn’t stand human sacrifices and death and bloodshed. (The regular sacrifices seme held has something to do with ukes past, where years ago his followers turned against Uke for being a dragon and tracked him,causing him to lose all his memories.)

So anyway, Uke disappears and Amon and the people of the country grieve.While pink hair did technically die, his magic allows him to live on in another plane of existence.

The ending is hopeful because while a long time passes, they state that Uke could return one day when he reaches peace. There’s an ending scene where a fox mysteriously appears in the kingdom, taking the throne beside Amon..which can imply what you want.

I literally hunted through comments and translated any paragraphs I could find to find bits and pieces of info, so apologies about the description and if there are any mistakes or inaccuracies!

And I knew from the first stare the pink-hair gave the uke that he liked uke and not Amon(๑•ㅂ•)و
