Literallyyyy lmao. There is a saying about how men being ambitious is expected but when women do it, society finds them pretentious ///:

People will, it's not about man or women ppl get bored of this tbh and it's hella annoying why don't you try reading the comments of the same. She is evil and selfish because she thinks her morals are superior so much so that ppl who help her are just plebs, she can't understand the sacrifices her sister made blindly following the corps. At least a little better character development would be nice, 90 ch and she's still worse at least "men" get their character development. I want her to get the reality check where she understands her sister sacrifices, her mothers story, truth about her friends death, coz she's having god complex rn

Not every story needs to have the main character become a good guy or have moral values. I think you’re better off looking elsewhere if that’s your expectation. Also, I read a ton of action manga with men as protagonist and none of them ever complain about the MC’s values or personality. It’s always complaints about romance. I think it’s refreshing that we finally have a female character who is driven enough to get what she wants regardless of the outcome. Personally I’ve had enough of those goody-two shoes female MC’s bc quite frankly, you can find them everywhere

If you see it through biased perspective obviously you won't see. Maybe look at how stories with male protagonist balanced even if they're psychotic+ majority hates overpowered MC be it man or women. Ofcourse dropped it long ago you don't really need to tell me to look somewhere else, if you've only seen goody-two shoes females MC, then it's safe to say you haven't read enough neither story centring around male protagonist or female protagonist, action that is.
Searched a little more about this before dropping and came to know it's really too early to expect any development from character with background like her as she needs a lot to work on but sorry for you she'll be getting some development where she's able to understand her friends aren't disposable pawn but helping hands and many more, I mean I realised we are just at the beginning of the story like very early stage even with 90 chapters in. You could say I liked her but at the same time hated her as she crosses line which you may call it as a one of the thing that makes her, a feature but nah. She's too close to spiralling into Abyss, I'd rather her join her sis gang Lol. So dropped it will come maybe after 200+ ch.

As a human being, it’s quite literally impossible for any human to be unbiased. You wanting MC’s to have good morals is a bias. Me wanting more stories about morally gray/bad moral MC’s is a bias.

I’m not too worried if she does end up becoming “good”, but that’s the thing with character development. The tragedy that makes or breaks a character is the interesting part. For me, if they start out already a “good moral saint” and stay that way till the end, it’s boring. They feel like a flat character with no dimension. It feels very fake. Nobody irl has absolutely zero desires or does things 100% out of goodwill every time and at all times.

But hey, if the story isn’t for you, then it’s not for you. Good on you for knowing when to drop stuff. I also tend to drop whenever I notice a story is making me mad.
