Silly me didn't read the title until I finished chapter 1 and went, "Oh. OH. It's gonna be one of those, huh..." This is such a bummer. The art, world building, and designs were really good too... What a waste.
Anyway, I continued reading, hoping, praying, that they were going to put a spin on the whole "this child is my fated mate" by having the dragonkin view her as a daughter rather than a mate because she's SO YOUNG. So instead of "fated mate" he would correct people with "previous person" because daughters can be precious to their parents, but erm.... yeah... it isn't going in that direction... Why is it always grooming...
